Last week our Technical Director Jo Assael moderated a session at the Dubai International Superyacht Summit on: “The challenges of yacht ownership within the framework of the UAE yacht regulations”.
The key part of setting up a new ownership/operational structure for a yacht, whether it be a new build or existing vessel, is to understand how best to deliver a platform that meets the needs of the owner.
To do this, our team first works with the owner to understand how they wish to use the yacht, where in the world they will be doing this, and what predetermined parameters exist within their residency and existing asset ownership structures.
Once we have this information, Döhle Yachts can advise on the best way to operate a yacht within the international and local regulatory frameworks to match the owner’s individual requirements.
