Martin joined Döhle Yachts in 2017 and heads the group’s finance department, responsible for budgeting and forecasting, financial control, financial risk management and financial input into the group’s strategic development. Martin also acts as company secretary for the group’s parent company.
Before joining the group, Martin spent 8 years as the Chief Financial Officer of an international wealth management group. Martin started his career at an international accounting firm, auditing a wide variety of industries including shipping, property management, captive insurance and many large industrial companies, before moving into trust and corporate services. He was involved in the provision of a wide range of services, including voluntary and involuntary liquidations, debt securitisation, escrow arrangements, gaming legislation, corporate secretarial, and international pension and administration services.
Martin is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He also holds a BA hons degree in Economics and Business Studies and a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors. When not running around after his two boys, Martin can be found up on the Manx hills on his mountain bike.
