James started his career as an Industrial Designer, qualifying in South Africa in 2008, and working in point-of-sale and furniture design.
In 2013, his love of technology and design culminated in his involvement in the development of the first Xbox One game to come out of South Africa. Following that, James worked for three years as a Software Developer and Team Lead in the banking sector.
James has extensive experience in all aspects of product development, from concept to delivery, and joined Döhle Yachts at the end of 2019 to head up our electronic Safety Management System (eSMS) development.
His background in design, mixed with his full-stack coding and DevOps knowledge, make him uniquely adept at user-experience-driven software development.
