We are pleased to announce that Mr Matt Gough has been promoted to Maritime Compliance Manager with effect from the 1st April 2017.
Matt joined Döhle Private Clients in 2011 and quickly proved to have a remarkable ability in the field of Maritime Compliance. He has been the “right hand man” to DPC`s Operations Manager ever since.
Matt has expert knowledge of the industry`s various codes and conventions, coupled with a logical approach to their implementation onboard. Being fully familiar with all aspects of the company`s Maritime Compliance services, and having a proven track record of providing exceptional service to Clients, made him the obvious choice to fill this position. We have complete confidence that this appointment will further enhance the exceptional levels of support that our Maritime Compliance clients receive.
Matt is a qualified and experienced ISM, ISPS, MLC2006 and Quality Management Systems internal auditor, ship superintendent and engineering surveyor, and holds approved Designated Person Ashore and Company Security Officer qualifications. He is a member of the Institute of Marine Engineers, Scientists and Technologists, holding professional accreditation as a Registered Marine Technologist.
Matt is recognised as being a specialist in the pragmatic and effective implementation of all aspects of operational compliance on large yachts, having been trained and mentored by some of the shipping and yachting industries’ most senior experts and ex-Royal Naval Officers.
