We are delighted to announce our sponsorship of the Pearls of Wisdom Women’s Afternoon Tea event on Friday, 8th April at The Shard in London.
Pearls of Wisdom aims to help women going into, working in or leaving the yachting industry, and to create a community to act as a source of honesty about what women face when choosing life at sea or within the industry.
Sally Aston, Head of Client Relations at Döhle Yachts, explains, “The first event was fantastic because there was a good balance of shore-based professionals and current crew in attendance. It provided a space to get together, network and share advice on what career opportunities exist for those women who are looking to transition into shore-based jobs.”
Pearls of Wisdom hopes to highlight the value of promoting women in yachting and help them transition ashore and succeed in their careers.
