Döhle Yachts has recently placed its second intake of cadets at the Warsash Maritime Academy. Alongside Trinity House Maritime Charity, the programme aims to offer support, structure and opportunities for young people at the beginning of their careers.
Will Mellor embarked on his maritime career in July 2018 within the Döhle Yachts’ Maritime Compliance team, administering ISM and ISPS services to the company’s fleet. This afforded Will a fundamental understanding of regulations and conventions that govern shipping worldwide.
Joe Parrett has spent many years sailing on the waters of the Solent and has followed the RYA path to coach various race squads and race keelboats.
