The international nature of our industry dictates that a
number of our staff travel, whether for audits, events, support or superyacht
deliveries. Whilst travel remains a necessity, procedures can be
introduced to mitigate the environmental impact, including measuring and
offsetting our travel-related carbon footprint.
This is why Döhle
Yachts is collaborating with established environmental organisations to offset
our carbon emissions on all business-related flights. Carbon neutrality
alone is not the answer but it is a tangible and important step we can make
towards addressing the issue.
In 2020, we will be
looking for new, innovative and effective ways to further develop our existing
environmental policies and sponsorship programmes.
