Lloyd’s Register have recently stressed that they ‘strongly recommend that owners and operators of existing vessels with IHMs comply with the EU Ship Recycling Regulation (EU SRR) well ahead of the December 2020 deadline, due to the vast number of ships that will require compliance at the same time.’
