By 31st December 2020, all vessels over 500GT (private or commercially registered) are required to have an approved Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM) on board, and corresponding International Certificate of Inventory of Hazardous Materials (ICIHM), or Statement of Compliance (SoC) for non-EU flagged ships docking in EU ports.
Döhle Yachts has developed a turnkey solution to develop a
yacht’s IHM to become compliant with the EU Ship Recycling Regulation and
future proof for the IMO Hong Kong Convention. Our service includes the
following:
- The development of the IHM
- Onboard sampling and survey
- Sending away the samples to the approved laboratory
- Submission of IHM to Class
- Class fees for the approval of the IHM
- Class attendance on board to certify the IHM
- Issuing the certificate
