H2 STCW Course

Döhle Yachts, in collaboration with the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), has produced and delivered the only fuel-specific training for service on ships using compressed gaseous or liquid hydrogen as fuel, recognized by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA). Working with the UK’s Maritime Coastguard Agency, the Cayman Islands Shipping Registry, and UHI’s Orkney team, the course was developed and is now a mandatory part of the training required by the UK MCA and CISR.

Attendees undergo specialist mandatory training to ensure that all seafarers are qualified to take up duty aboard. This training is provided by Döhle Yachts and UHI, and is recognized by the UK MCA.

Döhle Yachts Maritime Compliance Manager and Designated Person Ashore (DPA), Robert Aldous, will be providing this training in Inverness on March 26th, 27th, and 28th, 2025.
