Carbon Offsetting Project

Last quarter’s business-related flight emissions have now been offset via Yacht Carbon Offset, with the supported scheme being the Berlin Geothermal Power Plant in El Salvador.

The project involves high pressure steam from the Berlin Geothermal Field driving a 44MW condensation power unit to generate electricity. The project efficiently utilises indigenous resources to meet the country’s rising demand for energy and reduce reliance on imported fossil fuels.
