As required by the UK’s MCA Large Commercial Yacht Code, for commercial yachts over 24m and under 500GT and applicable Flag State legislation, we can develop a yacht-specific Mini ISM system, incorporating the yacht's existing best practices.
We call this system 499 SMS and it includes:
- 24 / 7 Shore Emergency Contact
- Mini ISM system fulfilling all LY2 requirements
- Assisting Owners and Crew with periodic Mini ISM review
- If required, receipt and monitoring of all 499 SMS on behalf of Owning Company
- Providing feedback and support to Captain and Crew
Access to the full emergency support and resources of Döhle (IOM) Ltd is also available in the event of an incident.
Any media response required as a result of an incident can also be coordinated by trained personnel in-house.
Our qualified Staff work exclusively for us and are all experienced in both large sailing and motor yachts and have extensive experience in delivering these systems to the Captain and Crew of each yacht.
