499 Safety Management System (Mini ISM)

We provide Mini ISM services for superyachts as required by the UK’s MCA Large Yacht Code, for commercial yachts over 24m and under 500GT and applicable Flag State legislation.
We call this system “499 SMS”.
499 SMS is tailor made for each yacht, using our extensive in-house experience. Our services are supported, when required, by the Döhle Group’s commercial operations services, thus providing strength in depth. This ensures that we can remain current on all relevant legislation, industry updates and other developments.
499 SMS include the provision of a Shore Emergency Contact available on a 24 hour basis. This guarantees access to a full support resource, whenever it is needed at defined levels and agreed charges. If required, a Media Response Organisation can further augment the above services.

  • Assisting Owners and Crew with periodic Mini ISM review
  • If required, receipt and monitoring of all 499 SMS on behalf of Owning Company
  • Providing feedback and support to Captain and Crew
Access to the full emergency support and resources of the Döhle Group is also available in the event of an incident.
Any media response required as a result of an incident can also be coordinated by trained personnel in-house.
