Döhle Private Clients Initiates Voluntary Pre-MLC Inspections

Over the last year Döhle Private Clients, in conjunction with Captains and clients, has been working closely with the Isle of Man Ship Registry on the likely effects of the upcoming Maritime Labour Convention (MLC).
This initiative involves opening the yacht owning/crew employment corporate structures and the yachts to voluntary pre-MLC inspections in order to jointly educate surveyors, Döhle staff and clients on the practical implications of compliance with the MLC.
Commented Döhle Director Robert Tobin: “Highlighting in advance documentation and working practices that may need slight modification is preferable to trying to pay catch up after the fact. As a result, we and our clients are well prepared for working efficiently and complying with the MLC.”
